The Device Health Report displays the health status of all devices deployed to your Asset Fleet. This report enables you to identify possible device issues for investigation.
- Click on Reports on the top menu
- The Reports drop-down menu will appear
- Select the Device Health Report from the list
- The report will load a table listing all of your Assets and widgets containing the following information (see also FAQ on Device Health Definition):
- Total Assets – Total Number of Assets under your Account or Group(s) depending on your user permissions
- Online – Total Online Devices. Number of devices that have communicated at least once in the last 6hrs e.g Last Ping < 6hrs
- Review – Devices that have not communicated at least once with the server in the last 6hrs e.g. Last Ping is >6hr but < 24hr ago
- Investigate – Devices that have not communicated with the server in the last 24hrs e.g. Last ping is >24hr but <48hr
- Offline – Devices that have not communicated at least once with the server in the last 48hrs e.g. Last Ping is >48hr ago
- Not Monitored – Relates to Software Tracking mobile App trackers only
- Not Deployed – Devices that have never communicated with the server
- The Asset table displays data in the following columns:
- Asset – Asset Label & Group
- Rego – Asset Registration Number
- Health – The health of the device and Internal Battery, GPS and GSM Signal strength indicators
- Device Type – The type of device being monitored e.g. Plug-n-Play, Hardwired etc
- Batt. (V) – Last reported voltage of device’s internal backup battery
- Ext. (V) – Last reported voltage being received by the device from its power source e.g. vehicle battery
- Last Ping – Date/time the device last connected to the platform
- Last Event – Date/time we received a valid data point e.g. last valid position reported
- Last Location – The last location the Asset was at when the associated device last connected to your application platform (Address or Fence)
- To filter the report click on the filter option in the Search bar at the top of the page
- You can then filter the report by an individual or a combination of the below options;
- You can also click on any of the widgets at the top of the report to filter the report to the devices that are currently in that state e.g. Online
- If you would like to search for a specific Asset, type the Asset label in the search bar and click on the Go button OR hit your Enter key
- If you would like to remove all search filters you have applied, click the Cross icon in the Search bar OR to remove specific filters open the Search menu and de-select the filter
- Once you have filtered the Device Health Report to your required view, you can click on the download icon to;
- Schedule the report
- Export the report in CSV, Excel or PDF format
